GIS Day 2019 | November 13, 2019
Join us on the mappiest day of the year!
You are cordially invited to join us on November 13, 2019 for CSI’s 14th Annual Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Conference, in celebration of International Geography Awareness Week. GIS Day will include key interactive workshops, poster sessions, and key insights by CSI Faculty, government agencies, and representatives from the private sector. Invitation with detailed agenda to follow.
A geographic information system (GIS) is a framework for gathering, managing and analyzing data. Rooted in the science of geography, GIS integrates many types of data. It analyzes spatial location and organizes layers of information into visualization using maps and 3D scenes. With this unique capability, GIS reveals deeper insights into data, such as patterns, relationships, and situations – helping users make smarter decisions.
